On Saturday, QPR released a statement confirming the death of Rio Ferdinand’s 34 year old wife Rebecca.
Mother to three kids, Rebecca sadly passed away in her sleep after a short battle with cancer.
The football world united in support of Rio Ferdinand but unfortunately there were a few on social media who saw this as an opportunity to ‘troll’ the former Manchester Unite defender.
It sickens me to even write this but some Chelsea fans claimed that Rebecca’s death was ‘karma’ over the racism incident surrounding John Terry and Ferdinand’s brother, Anton.
Despite that, one unhinged Chelsea fan took to Twitter to tell his followers that Rebecca’s death was better than winning the Premier League.
Another supporter of the Chelsea captain added: ‘This is what happens when you go against the mighty John Terry Ole Ole Ole‘, according to The Sun.
99.9% of Chelsea fans have distanced themselves from these despicable low-lifes but it’s sad to think that the world we live in contains such monsters.
A Liverpool fan also embarrassed himself with a sub-human tweet.
