PHOTOS: Above The Law Air Force men beat FAAN staff to stupor.. READ MORE

Airforce officers keep taking the laws into their hands, beating and dehumanizing people they think are not in the ranks.

Chief of Air Staff Alex Badeh

Men of the Nigerian Air Force has once again shown that they are above the law as two of officers descended on a staff of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), identified as Mohammed Shuaibu, and beat him to a state of stupor, leaving him bleeding from the nose, mouth, ear and the private part.

The incident, according to eyewitnesses, happened on  Monday, May 18, at the international terminal wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, when Shuaibu who works at the protocol and passages department of FAAN, had told a friend to come and pick him at the airport.
But when the friend arrived, the Air Force men moved to remove the plate numbers of his car, claiming that he had parked longer than necessary.
When Shuaibu came out, he reportedly begged the Air Force personnel not to take away the plate numbers, insisting that he is a staff of the agency.
Eyewitnesses said Shuaibu was wearing a FAAN staff uniform and had introduced himself and showed his identity card but an argument ensued which led to the airmen descending on him.
Shuaibu was beaten by the airmen until he collapsed with blood oozing from his nostrils and he began to lose his breath as his heart beat slowed, before he was rescued.
This is not the first time Air Force officers will be taking laws into their hands. Late last year, they had beaten up a female police officer at the MMIA and just some weeks ago, another female police officer tasted their bile at a filling station when one of the force men beat her blue black and even damaged her car.
