All of a sudden, Gareth Bale’s departure from Real Madrid looks like its nailed on.
Moreover, Bale is destined to move back to the Premier League to join Manchester United in one of a football’s biggest ever transfer, if the people at Spanish paper AS know what they are talking about.
The front page of AS is clear: “Bale is looking for an exit”.
According to the report, Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett met Florentino Perez yesterday, and it’s now become obvious that the Welsh forward is seeking to leave the Santiago Bernabeu if Real can recoup their investment in the former Tottenham man.
AS claim that Man United are ready to offer Real €120 million for Bale, which should be enough for Los Blancos to sell.
AS further detail that Man United are using Ryan Giggs to sweet-talk Bale into moving to Old Trafford.
