Danger is looming in Ikorodu area of Lagos. Every night, at about 10 p.m., dozens of young men steal oil from a burst pipeline in the area. They carry it in jerrycans and move around the area at full speed.
They then resell it from Ikorodu to Ikeja as well as Ketu.Authorities, including policemen, are said to be aware, but nothing is being done to stop it as many people benefit from the theft.
Oil theft in the past had resulted in hundreds of dead bodies…… This is a red alert.
