SPORT: Carlo Ancelotti Confirms Gareth Bale Will Miss Eibar Fixture.. READ HERE>>>>>>>

Rayo Vallecano de Madrid v Real Madrid CF - La Liga

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that he will take no risks with Gareth Bale's fitness for the match with Eibar on Saturday, reported Goal.

The Welshman has been struggling with a foot injury in recent days and was considered doubtful for the match at Santiago Bernabeu, though Ancelotti has now confirmed that he will take no part in the game. Bale's absence is though merely a precaution, and his manager is hopeful that he will be able to return in time to play against Atletico Madrid in Tuesday's vital Champions League showdown.
Ancelotti said at a pre match press conference: "Bale is not available, he has been tested and he has an overload. It is better to rest him so that he is ready on Tuesday." Earlier in the day, the yellow card Cristiano Ronaldo picked up in the midweek win over Rayo Vallecano was rescinded by the Spanish FA, meaning that he will be able to take part in the clash. Ronaldo was initially booked for diving, but Los Blancos challenged the call and got the decision overturned.

Ancelotti said of the incident: "We thought the yellow card was unjust, so we challenged it. We need Ronaldo for Saturday as it is an important day. We have great respect for Eibar and we cannot fail.

"We need the best starting XI possible available to us."

The Italian also confirmed that Luka Modric would play against Eibar despite looking to leave the pitch in pain against Rayo. The Croatian was seen grabbing his left thigh as he left the pitch, but Ancelotti revealed there was nothing to worry about with regards to his condition.

He continued: "Modric ended tired as there was only one rest day, but they are all tired. Luka will play."

Real are currently four points behind Barcelona at the top of the table, but can close the gap to one with a win before Barcelona play Sevilla later in the day.
