PHOTOS: Fuji Maestro, PASUMA pulls A-list Yoruba actors for ‘Oruka’ video shoot.

 

If you happened to be around the popular Jahlobia Garden along Airport Road in Lagos on Tuesday, you could have spotted a big party going on with everyone clad in all-white with a touch of blue as accessories. Your first impression might be there was a big wedding going on.
Yes, you are not far from the truth, but  not right on spot.


 It was a wedding alright but a different kind. It was Pasunma shooting the video of his wedding song ‘Oruka’ released on May 15th and dedicated to  Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomole who recently got married to his new wife, Lara Fortez.

Another unique thing about the gathering was that it was strictly graced by Yoruba actors, males and females. From Adebayo Salami, Femi Adebayo to Fathia Balogun, Biodun Okeowo, Sobola Sotayo, Tope Osoba, Iyabo Ojo, Lasun Ray, to Wale Adebayo. 

The list is endless. For years, Pasunma has been rolling with Yoruba actors and even featured in a handful of their films. It would seem his association with them has paid off as it is unimaginable that Pasunma would have paid such retinue of stars who could have numbered between 30-50.

Most of them big time A-list in their own rights.
