The Association of Imams and Mallams in Kaduna State, has through its head, Sheikh Abubakar Usman Baban-Tune, expressed its shock over the cancellation of the annual Ramadan welfare package which was considered as a tradition in the state.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State says he is stopping the programme as the state is broke. But while speaking with BBC Hausa, the sheikhs of the state expressed nothing but disappointment.
