It appears Aisha, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari has cut down on her social appearances – even before it takes off full swing.
She is said to have declined attendance at an event that would have kept her in public consciousness.
Funke, former bank managing director and wife of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s man Friday, Victor Osibodu is said to have extended invitation for a dinner in the honour of the First lady.
The event according to newsbreaker platform, naijahottestgist is supposed to be ‘in honour of her husband’s inauguration’.
But acting on the advice of presidential handlers keen to contain growing controversies about her person, the first lady reported turned down the invitation.
‘she has been advised to shun moves that would provide ammunitions for those monitoring her ways to wipe up controversies around her personality’ an insider disclosed.
And acting according to script she turned down the Dinner invitation despite notice it is a ‘private affair’.
The first lady, Aisha Buhari has been dogged with controversies for days now ranging from hobnobbing with sponsors of immediate past president Goodluck Jonathan, who contested against her husband to taking over the office of the First lady in direct opposite to the campaign promises President Buhari- down to raging talks of adorning a N10 Million wrist watch for the inauguration of the man who won election on the premise of being an austere man out to fight corrupt practises in the country.
