Tee Morgan's the first Nigerian to ever step foot on the North Pole and to run a marathon. MORE HERE>>>>>

Today I raised the Nigerian flag to become the first Nigerian to ever step foot on the North Pole and to run a marathon. Words fail me to express how am feeling. The weather was -41C. I fought really hard to finish this race. I am grateful to God for helping me.

42-year-old Tee Morgan is a Nigerian female distance runner. This is a very heartwarming achievement! smile emoticon So good to see the Nigerian flag at the North Pole! She is a member of the National Black Marathoners Association in the USA, the largest and the oldest not-for-profit organization that supports black distance runners. The organization has awarded over $10,000 in scholarships to college-bound, high school seniors and continue to encourage running as a sport among the black community. She was at the North Pole for 24 hours.
Before the race, she wrote: I will be running the North Pole Marathon to support the National Black Marathoner Association. The North Pole Marathon is no easy feat. The North Pole is run on Arctic ice floes, with 6 to 12 feet separating you from 12,000 feet of Arctic Ocean.Remember, this marathon is not run on land - it is run 'on' water, frozen water, in the high Arctic.
WE ARE ON TOP OF THE WORLD!
