
The community of Fort Bend County in the United States of Texas is gripped with fear currently as 56-year-old Nigerian Osa Alohaneke stabbed his 52-year-old Cameroonian fiancee Evelyne Ebane Epiepang to death. Authorities say the body of Epiepang, a nurse, with blood spattered all over it was found at a home on Wednesday night.
The murder was said to have occured around 7 p.m. in the 16315 block of Alametos Drive in the Mission Bend area, acccording to information revealed by the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. The deputies stated that they also found the female victim dead in the house with her sister sustaining injuries with Alohaneke standing close to the scene with blood-stained clothes. He explained to the deputies that the late Epiepang was his fiancee and that they lived together. A family friend, a male, was present during the incident but was unhurt.
The injured sister suffered a puncture wound in her shoulder and her arm was broken. She was also stabbed by Alohaneke. Although her condition is said to be non life-threatening, she has been taken to the Memorial-Hermann Hospital-Katy. A team of deputies had already been dispatched to the home around 5 p.m. in response to a domestic violence emergency call from the late Epiepang. By the time the deputies arrived, Alohaneke had already left the home only to return about two hours later when he started banging the door but Epiepang and her sister was not at home. The male family friend then phoned the victim, who then returned with her sister, and it was upon her return that the crime was committed. Currently, Alohaneke is locked up in the Fort Bend County jail under the custody of the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the case remains under investigation. He is not a US citizen and could face the death penalty.
