Arturo Vidal's agent is believed to have held transfer talks with Arsenal after attending the FA Cup final victory over Aston Villa.
The Metro
claims Vidal's representative, Fernando Felicevich, was at Wembley to
watch his other main client Alexis Sanchez score the second goal in a
4-0 win.
But, it seems, while he
was invited by Sanchez, reports in Italy say Arsenal officials spoke
with Felicevich about Vidal after the match.
It is understood that, while Arsene Wenger has played down a deal, the
Gunners remain keen on bringing in the Juventus midfielder. And Juve are
believed to be open to selling him for £28.5 million.
In fact, The Metro also claims Arsenal are lining up an £85m transfer spree to sign Porto's Jackson Martinez, Chelsea's Petr Cech, Vidal and Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin.Martinez has confirmed he will be leaving Porto this summer while Schneiderlin has told Southampton he craves Champions League football.
Vidal is set to be moved on by Juve and Cech will move across London in order to play first team football.
And finally, Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama says it would be "nice" to join Arsenal.
However, The Daily Mail claims it seems highly likely that Arsenal will sign a midfielder this summer and they have long been linked with a move for Wanyama's Southampton team-mate Schneiderlin, but face competition from Man United.
Wenger has also asked to be kept informed about Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, who is also a target for Inter Milan and Manchester City.
