LASU Post UTME University alerts candidates on fraudsters' 'administrative charges' messages

The Lagos State University (LASU) has issued a public warning about the activities of fraudsters targeting candidates sitting for its Post UTME examinations.

The Lagos State University (LASU) has issued a public warning about the activities of fraudsters targeting candidates sitting for its Post UTME examinations.



In a disclaimer published on the university website, the management urged candidates to ignore any communication relating to administrative charges.

"LASU Post UTME applicants should kindly ignore any TEXT MESSAGE, EMAIL or VOICE CALL directing them to pay a sum into a bank account as administrative charges," the announcement read.
"Information regarding 2015/2016 LASU Post UTME are disseminated ONLY through the use of Lagos State University official website – lasu.edu.ng lasu.edu.ng.
"PLEASE BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS PLEASE BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS."

The LASU Post UTME examinations will hold from the 4th to the 14th of August according to a Saturday announcement by the institution.
