There is Something about this picture that i do not understand, The Walking stick,The Horsetail Whisk,President Jonathan and the Obas.....

 

Research has shown that in Yorubaland, traditional rulers bless with their horsetail whisks (Irukere). In contrast, however, they curse with their walking sticks.

While they rarely point their walking sticks at their subjects, it is seen as a bad omen anytime they do, often in a fit of open or silent anger. The gesture aggregates the burden of existence tapped from the earth by the sticks, which is then hurled at whoever the sticks are pointed at.
